We are at the end of the second week of reading through Colossians. The past week was very practical in disciplines we can live by to help us live in the REALITY of what Jesus intends for us. Take time to take stock of your week, thinking about how you have grown in areas, and where you have tried and maybe failed. Ask the Holy Spirit to once again empower you to live this Christian way of life with conviction, walking worthy of Him.

The letter to the Church in Colossae was written by Paul as a REALITY CHECK on the things that are considered of greatest value for those following Jesus, the threats against them and how to live amidst the culture surrounding them. He investigates the vast ideas of Christ’s Supremacy, which is ultimate reality, all the way to the personal understanding of our new reality in Christ and fullness in Him.
