## KEY #5: You Must Have a Passion for the Things of God Passion for your house has consumed me. (Psalm 69:9 NLT) The refreshing waters of God’s presence are not just for a few individuals; they are for the entire church. They are for families, communities, and cities. They are meant to invade all areas of life, including business, government, and education. They are meant to spread throughout the nation and the world. You must have a passion to carry God’s presence and works wherever He leads you. ### Heaven Is the Pattern In ancient times, when the people of Judah were attacked by the Moabites and Ammonites, they permeated the atmosphere on the battlefield with praise, and God’s people had a great victory. “ [King] Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying, ‘Give thanks to the Lord, for his love endures forever’” (2 Chronicles 20:21 NIV). When we begin to do on earth what is done in heaven, then heaven responds and changes our earthly reality. Heaven is the model, the blueprint, the pattern. As we bring heaven to earth, everything about our world will begin to change. This requires that we first align ourselves with heaven through Jesus. Then, we begin to synchronize with the Spirit, through His anointing, which manifests supernaturally through our physical actions. This brings heaven to earth right here and right now. The result is that the veil of separation (the things that have tried to keep us from experiencing the fullness of God) is torn, heaven meets earth, and the two become one. Heaven’s activities take place all around us. ### The Realm of God’s Power You can establish this realm of God’s power in your home. This is for your family. You can establish this realm of God’s power in your business. This is for your community. You can establish this realm of God’s power in your church and ministry. This is for the nations. When the heavens are open, we are no longer bound by time or space. There are no such limitations. Distance is not a problem. The calendar or clock is no longer an issue. We are not just natural beings; we are spiritual beings, new creations. We have a natural body, but it has been given to us for supernatural purposes. The physical world has restricted us, but when the heavens are opened, we can begin to exercise our citizenship rights as heirs of the kingdom of heaven. We are called and appointed as ambassadors for Christ in this world. Let us take up our duties as those who hold the keys for releasing and maintaining open heavens. ### Transformed into His Likeness Heaven is a wonderful place, full of glories, and how awesome it is that we can experience the things of heaven right here and right now! Through worship, we can have an encounter with God and know Him on a deeper, more intimate, and more experiential level as He invites us into His realm. In the process, we will be changed, receiving wisdom from on high and the revelation of Jesus Christ. The Christian life is all about glorifying the Lamb of God, about lifting up the name of Jesus, the Son of God, so that the whole world, through Him, may be reconciled to the Father. Therefore, learn to wait patiently in His glory. Stay there, standing and resting in that realm, soaking it in. Find the holiest place and remain there until His light begins to shine through you. These moments in the light come with strategies through which you can move forward in your life; they bring heavenly light to guide your natural steps. You will find a sense of completeness in God as you see Him as He is, and—most importantly—you will be transformed into His likeness in the glory. The more we look at the King of Glory, the more we are transformed into the sons and daughters of glory that He paid such a price to redeem. From this vision, we gain confidence to stake out the land, take new ground, and establish new places of power, recognizing that God has given us His approval to bring heaven to earth.
