Can you Matthew 1:23 all by yourself yet? That verse teaches us something very important to remember: God wants to be with us. Jesus shows us that God wants to be with us all the time. God never leaves us because He loves us! Play a game of hide-and-seek with your child. Be sure to remember each place your child chose to hide. When you're done playing, ask your child if God was with them in each place they hid. For example, ask, "When you hid in the closet, was God with you there?" Help your child recognize the Christmas season is all about remembering the miracle that God is truly with us.
