Day 5: Save

Statistics around the world would suggest a prevailing practice: If you have it, spend it and if you don't have it, spend it anyway. There is a general feeling of futility in saving as it seems to be so little, so often too late and so easily eroded by inflation and fraud. Having said this, the foolish gulp down all they earn and the wise save. Starting with even a little is a start. A goal would be to give God a tenth, save a tenth and live on the rest. As you examine your finances, how can you manage the eighty percent so as to ensure room for wise saving. Having a pre-saved resource for emergencies, holidays and retirement produces a bi-product called peace and affects every aspect of your life. How peaceful are you? You may consider adjusting your spending to accommodate some saving.
