In the face of his greatest challenge, Abraham believed God would provide.
On the way to sacrifice his son, Abraham communicates to his servants with him, saying, “Stay here while I and the boy go over and worship. After we worship, we will come back to you.” Did you catch that? Abraham knew what God was asking him to do. And yet, in the face of his greatest test of obedience, Abraham still believed that God would provide, that both he and his son, Isaac, would return. This is tremendous faith, and it’s Abraham’s faith that fuels his obedience.
If God were to ask you to make a sacrifice, do you have faith that he would provide? The reason we aren’t willing to make a FEARLESS sacrifice for God is because we don’t believe He will provide.
If God asked you to sacrifice your time, your finances, your job, or even someone you love, would you be willing to fearlessly follow?

God has given His people a purpose: to connect everyone to Jesus and his mission. In order to pursue the mission of Jesus, we cannot have a faith that is timid or cowardly. As we spend time looking at the life of Abraham, a man of courageous faith and sacrificial obedience, we will be challenged to be FEARLESS for the mission of Jesus.
