We will reflect on Scripture in both the Old and New Testaments that all point towards the coming of Christ. As we look at the story of Christ’s anticipated arrival over this Christmas season, our prayer at New Life Church is that you would remember that Jesus came to be the embodiment of God’s promises for salvation and redemption.

Let’s learn from the man who raised our eternal Hope. Let’s reflect on how we as men can also raise hope for generations to come by being selfless and intentional mentors.

Advent is a season of anticipation and remembrance. During Advent, we remember the coming of the promised messiah into the world—the first advent of Jesus. But we also look forward to the time when Jesus will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead—his second Advent. 

For this year, we have chosen to focus our devotion on Jesus's different names and titles. The scriptures give us these names and titles to show us distinct aspects of salvation and the kind of savior Jesus would be.
