Book of Galatians

DAY 1 OF 3

FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. (Galatians 2:20) The Bible tells us that we are not saved because of our deeds and works but because of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Some people have difficulty understanding and accepting Christianity because they cannot accept and believe that God became a man. In their opinion, it is not possible nor should it happen that God became the same as His creation. As Christians, we believe that this is the proof of God’s great love for us. He wants to save all of us, the sinners, and He knows that we can only be redeemed from the punishment of sin by the blood of His sacrifice, Jesus. At one point in his life, the apostle Paul also refused to believe in Jesus. However, his life was changed after his supernatural personal encounter with the Lord. He was changed from someone who opposed the preaching of the good news about God’s salvation for mankind through Jesus Christ to become someone who preached the news. According to the Apostle Paul, faith in Jesus is a life that is completely surrendered to Jesus. This is not a half-hearted surrender but a complete surrender. This is not about us, but about Jesus Christ. All of our life is used to glorify the Lord. Our works, businesses, ministries, statuses, homes, families, and everything else belong to God and God alone. Other people may be proud of their successes and exalt themselves. As followers of Jesus, we brought nothing when we came into this world and we will not bring anything with us when we leave this world. Everything will be abandoned. This is the reason why Paul said that his knowledge, greatness, and intelligence could not be compared with his faith in his Lord Jesus Christ. Do not sell your faith in Jesus Christ and exchange it with any offer from the world.
