Asi handiti shoko raMŋari rakakona. Nokuti ʋakabva kuʋaIsraeri haʋazi ʋaIsraeri ʋose; naʋari ʋorudzi rwaAbrahama haʋazi ʋana ʋake ʋose; asi ɀinonzi: KunaIsaka ndiko kucatumidzwa rudzi rwako. Ndokuti haʋazi ʋana ʋenyama ʋari ʋana ʋaMŋari; asi ʋana ʋokupikirwa, ndiʋo ʋanonzi rudzi. Nokuti shoko rakapikirwa ndirori: Neŋguʋa yakaita seino ndicaʋuya, Sara ucaʋa nomŋanakomana. Haɀizi iɀoɀo ɓedzi; asi Rebeka ʋo, wakati aʋa nemimba kunomumŋe, iye Isaka, ɓaɓa ʋeɗu — nokuti ʋana ʋasati ʋaɓerekwa, ʋasati ʋaita ɀakanaka kana ɀakaipa, kuti kufuŋga kwaMŋari pakusanaŋgura kwake kusimbiswe, kusiŋgabvi pamaɓasa, asi kunaiye unoɗana, ɀakanzi kwaari: Mukuru ucaʋa muranda womuɗuku. Seɀaɀakanyorwa, ɀicinzi: Jakobo ndakamuɗa, asi Esau ndakamuʋeŋga. Ɀino ticatiyiko? Kusarurama kuri’po kunaMŋari here? Haiȿa!
