Shepherds lived on the outskirts unseen, undervalued, and considered insignificant. Yet God chose them to receive the greatest announcement in history. That alone tells us something powerful about God’s heart: He sees the overlooked. If you’ve ever felt invisible or unimportant, remember the shepherds. When others don’t notice your worth, God does. Christmas proves that God draws close to those who feel far from significance.
