Defeating Fearනියැදිය

When Fear Feels Bigger Than Faith
Fear often masquerades as nervousness or worry. I’ve found myself calling fear everything but fear. But what that does is it prevents me from addressing it. All of us face moments when fear takes over, fear of failure, fear of the unknown, fear of letting others down. Like Peter sinking in the water, fear often wins when we take our eyes off Jesus. When your mind races and your heart pounds, remember: fear thrives in the absence of focus on God. But when we fix our thoughts on His presence, power, and promises, fear begins to shrink.
Faith doesn’t deny the reality of fear; it just declares that God is greater than it.
Respond to God’s Word:
Where in your life are you giving more attention to fear than to God’s presence? Write down one area and ask God to help you shift your focus from fear to faith today.
