21 Days of Selfess Livingනියැදිය

Sometimes we don’t know how to be generous because we feel like we don’t have much to give. One barrier could be that we don’t have much financial margin. Another might be that we feel like life is so busy and demanding that we don’t have the mental or emotional bandwidth to help anyone else. The truth of the matter is that God has blessed each of us in ways that we sometimes overlook. Today’s passage is also from Peter’s letter (like yesterday’s passage), and it encourages us to take an inventory of what God has given us and reminds us that we are blessed to be a blessing.
Read 1 Peter 4:8-10.
Questions to consider:
- Have you ever felt like you don’t have anything to give? Why do you think that is?
- What gifts has God given you? How could they be useful in serving others?
An action step to take:
Invite someone to share a meal with you this week (ideally in your home, but wherever it is, be their host). Practice asking them questions and listening well.
