Decide to leave the past behind

Reflection:

To embrace the future God has for you, you need to let go of the past. We often cling to guilt, shame, and the mistakes we previously made, believing that these define our present and limit our future. But God invites you to leave the old behind to run toward the new. He is making paths in the desert and rivers in the wilderness, and you are a part of that plan of restoration. Don't get stuck in the "what ifs"; God has something better ahead for you. This is the moment to close chapters with forgiveness and the conviction that in Christ you are a new creation.

What do you need to let go of today to move forward to the new God has for you?

Prayer:

Dear Lord, today I decide to leave my past behind and to walk toward the future You have prepared for me. I surrender to You my mistakes, my faults, and the things I cannot change, and I ask that You help me let go of everything that holds me back. Renew my mind and heart so that I may live in freedom, unchained by the past, trusting that in You I am a new creation. Help me to look ahead with hope and to walk in obedience to Your word. Thank You for giving me a new beginning. Amen.
