Revelation 15 - You Alone Are Holy

Some time ago, I asked the Spirit which song to release for Christmas.

I had a few obvious candidates lying around, like Isaiah 9, but also the usual suspects from the four gospels. But the answer came: Revelation 15.

This was a song I had almost finished, but I was sure I had misunderstood Him.

So I asked Him again. And again the answer came: Revelation 15.

So I played the song and suddenly it dawned on me: this is the perfect Christmas song!

You alone are holy. These verses all point to Jesus. As a matter of fact, it's called the Song of the Lamb. :-)

‭‭And they were singing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb:
“Great and marvelous are your works, O Lord God, the Almighty. Just and true are your ways, O King of the nations.

"Who will not fear you, Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous deeds have been revealed.” (Revelation‬ ‭15:3‭-‬4‬, NLT)

This Christmas, imagine yourself kneeling next to Jesus in the manger, singing these verses, worshiping Him with the angels, our beautiful Lamb. The King of Kings, our beautiful Jesus.

You alone are holy. 🙌
