So Much: A 3-Day YouVersion Bible Planනියැදිය

Thanking God in Tough Seasons
As we established yesterday, practicing gratitude can help us renew our minds and refocus our eyes on Jesus. However, it’s no secret that it can be challenging to think of things to be thankful for when navigating hard seasons. The truth is we still live in a broken world, and recounting blessings in the midst of pain can often feel like trying to piece together vague, distant memories.
How, then, do we thank God in these valley seasons?
God’s Word is clear that while the world has many troubles, Jesus has overcome the world through his death and resurrection. And for those of us in Christ, we can take comfort in remembering there will be a day with no more tears, suffering, or pain. As adopted sons and daughters in God’s Kingdom, we get to spend eternity in heaven with our Creator. Oh, what a glorious hope to have!
This truth is the anchor for our souls when the hardships of life come our way. It may not minimize the pain of our current experience, but it does steady us in challenging times. So, when we find ourselves in these tough seasons, we still have the choice to thank God for His biggest blessing of all: that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You sending Your Son to pay the price for my sins. I recognize that in every season, my hope is anchored in You. I praise You for the gift of Your grace and the eternal home I have because of You. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
