Day 3 - Rejoice

May your faithful people rejoice in your goodness. … Let his faithful people rejoice in this honor and sing for joy on their beds.

Rejoice in the Lord and be glad, you righteous; sing, all you who are upright in heart! … They rejoice in your name all day long; they celebrate your righteousness.

A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world. So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy. In that day you will no longer ask me anything.

Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.

Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else. Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
