DAY TWELVE — Barriers Broken
At Mount Sinai, God gave clear instructions about who could come near. Moses was called up. Aaron was allowed to join him, but the priests and the rest of the people were warned to stay back. Crossing the boundary meant death.
The boundary at Sinai was a reminder that sin separates us from God, and that access to Him requires His provision.
The good news for us today is that in Christ, those barriers have been broken. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus opened the way for us to enter God’s presence with confidence. What was once off-limits is now available to all who belong to Him.
God’s holiness hasn’t changed—but our access has. At Sinai, there were boundaries. At the cross, there is an invitation.
REFLECTION QUESTIONS
- What does it mean to you that Jesus has made a way into God’s presence?
- How can you live differently today knowing you have direct access to God through Christ?
