30 Days of Scriptures for Mental Health Strugglesනියැදිය

Day 25: Trust God
Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV is an often-quoted scripture that comes up when one is going through a confusing or tough time. For me, this scripture helped me trust God more during my mental health struggles. It says, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
This scripture taught me not to lean on my understanding but to trust God. I realized that I don’t have to understand everything that happens in my life or the exact reasons why. Instead, I can trust God to guide me on the right path.
Therefore, I encourage you to trust in God throughout your mental health challenges, even when you don’t understand why. Let Him guide you.
Prayer point:
Heavenly Father, Almighty God, thank you for being trustworthy. I pray and ask that you help me trust you through my mental health struggles. Help me lean not on my own understanding, but bless me to always acknowledge you. May you always guide me down the right path. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
