30 Days of Scriptures for Mental Health Strugglesනියැදිය

Day 10: The Armor of God
Have you ever prayed the passage of scriptures called The Armor of God? I have repeatedly, and it’s always comforted me and made me feel like my mind was protected. Here are the scriptures in Ephesians 6:14-18 NIV:
“Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”
This is how I would pray this passage of scripture:
Heavenly Father, Almighty God, thank you for your armor. Please bless me to have the belt of truth around my waist, the breastplate of righteousness in place, my feet fitted with the Gospel of peace, the shield of faith in one hand, the helmet of salvation on my head, and the sword of the Spirit in my other hand. Bless me to pray on all occasions to you for peace of mind, body, and soul. Cover me in your armor. Thank you for your protection. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
