What Is Sabbath
Today’s verse reminds us of one of something really important, but often forgotten by believers: sabbath. God doesn’t call us to work ourselves to death. He offers Himself as our place to feel safe. Never be afraid of going to God when you feel exhausted. He’s waiting and ready to give you rest so you can grow in your spiritual maturity.
Congratulations! You’ve completed the Kids Bible Experience 30-Day Challenge! But even though your time reading this plan is about to be over, your discipleship journey with Jesus has just begun. Set a time to check out the Kids Bible Experience on your YouVersion home page every day. Keep growing in God through His Word. Keep loving Jesus with everything you have. Be open to the Holy Spirit’s guidance. Know that God is the source of Truth and He will be with you every step of the way.
Prayer
“God, there is no one bigger than you! Thank you for being a safe place, on both the good days and when I face hard things. Help me to come to you whenever I am anxious, angry, sad, or anything in between. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
