AS FOR ME – I WILL GO

Let today not just be another random day. How to be intentional with creating an attitude that values every moment.

Do you ever find yourself caught in situations where the big questions are: “Why?” “What’s next?” “Is it really me?” “Am I even the person for the job?” “Can’t it be somebody else?”

The Bible makes it very clear that we are called by God, the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings, to be representatives of His kingdom, to be ambassadors of Christ. The call isn’t easy, the task isn’t small, and Jesus is very clear that the world isn’t going to love us for it. But let’s be the generation that takes the call, will not back down to a fight, will stand up to the challenges in front of them, and say, “As for me, I will fight. As for me, I will transform this world. As for me, nothing will stand in my way.” See, God has chosen you for such a time as this; each and every single one of us has been given good gifts to outwork in this world. The world is going to hate you for it, so how do you keep your head above the waves when hard times come and keep charging ahead even when hope is at its lowest?

There are so many amazing stories and testimonies of simple people that changed the world, people that took hopelessness, failure, fear, and flipped the story. The book of Romans says to be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that we are not to copy the ways of the world and not to walk down the path of fear and hopelessness, but to flip the game.

1. Stepping into the encounter with God

Allow ourselves to die to our desires and live by the will and glory of God. Romans say that is true and proper worship. Let’s make room for God to move in our every moment and every thought.

2. Don’t think too highly of yourself.

Let’s stop worrying about ourselves or our image, but be devoted to one another. Encourage, believe in, and give respect to everyone around you. Live vibrantly, full of life and passion, be attentive to the Spirit at all times, and give your best to the Lord. Let us be known for our joy, love, peace, and faithfulness.

‭‭3. No matter what.

Let’s be those who don’t give up when we struggle to be faith-filled; we will still be faithful. Keep your eyes on Christ for He is our victory, peace, and reward. When walls come up in our life, will you break through them or walk the other way? Let’s pray for strength, wisdom, and mercy that today we will take new ground, we will stand tall against all the enemies' schemes, and that today we will sing songs of praise to God

Application

Find a place to come close with God. Let’s look to God in all situations, not rely on our own strengths or abilities. DON’T GIVE UP.
