Faith That Feels Real: Part 2 - Meeting God in Our Woundsනියැදිය

We tell ourselves, “I should be over this by now.” But that’s a lie. Healing doesn’t come with a deadline. God never asked you to rush.
Psalm 147 says He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds—not all at once, but tenderly, layer by layer. Ecclesiastes reminds us there’s a season for weeping and a season for healing. God isn’t impatient with your process. He’s a Father who walks with you through it.
When we try to rush, we end up with half-healed hearts—like a broken bone set too quickly. But when we slow down, time itself becomes a gift. Every day of waiting becomes an invitation to surrender, to lean into God’s love, and to trust that His pursuit of you never stops.
You don’t have to meet a deadline. You just have to keep showing up.
Reflect & Apply:
- Where do you feel pressure to “get it right” spiritually?
- How might shame be shaping the pace of your healing?
- What would it look like to release the deadline and rest in God’s patient love today?
