Storyteller: The Parables of Jesusනියැදිය

Reflection Day
Today, you have the opportunity to catch up on reading and reflect on what you have read and learned.
The parables we have studied for the past seven days collectively reveal the nature of God and His Kingdom, emphasizing themes of His forgiveness, compassion, mercy, justice, judgment, and patience. They also urge us, as His disciples, to live in a way that reflects His values in every way through our obedience, readiness, and love for others.
A few questions to consider…
When I consider the attributes of God and the things He wants to bless me with, do I operate with the mentality of scarcity or plenty? How does that affect my trust in God?
In light of who I am and what Christ has done for me, how does this motivate me to show compassion, forgiveness, and love to others?
Do I believe Jesus could return at any moment? If so, how am I actively stewarding His gifts as I wait?
Does my private devotional life with Jesus match my public life before others?
A prayer moving forward…
Jesus, show me where I need to re-evaluate how I spend my time or how I am using the things You have given me to love You and love others well. Help me trust that You are good and always have my best interest at heart. Amen.

Jesus is the greatest storyteller of all time. His parables invite us into the larger narrative God has been writing since the beginning. Like a beautiful song or a piece of art that stirs something deep within, these stories capture our imaginations and move our hearts. Through His parables Jesus reveals the character of God, the mission of His Kingdom, and the power of His truth to transform our hearts and to invite us to join Him in His redemptive work in the world.
