The Good News You Can’t Miss
Have you ever gotten good news that totally changed your day? Maybe you aced a test you thought you bombed, got picked for the team, or reconnected with a friend you’ve been missing. It feels amazing, right? Good news has a way of lifting our spirits and changing how we see the day. But imagine hearing news that doesn’t just change your day—it changes your life forever. That’s what the Gospel is.
The Gospel is the best news ever: Jesus, God’s Son, died for your sins. That means every mistake, every wrong choice, every moment you’ve felt like you weren’t enough—Jesus took all of that upon Himself when He went to the cross. He didn’t do it out of guilt or obligation. He did it out of love. He loves you so much that He chose to take the punishment you deserved.
But it didn’t end there. Three days later, Jesus did what no one else could—He beat death and came back to life. His resurrection proved that sin and death don’t have the final word. That means you’re not stuck in your mistakes or defined by your failures. You’re free. You’re forgiven. You’re loved.
And here’s the best part: you don’t have to earn it. You don’t have to prove yourself to God. Jesus already did the work. All you have to do is believe and receive His love. That’s the kind of news that changes everything—not just for now, but forever.
Response:
Take a moment today to thank Jesus for His love and sacrifice. Ask Him to help you live in the freedom He gives. Because of Jesus, you are free, forgiven, and deeply loved. That’s good news you don’t want to miss.
