God is closer to us than we think. His presence is all around, it doesn’t come and go. When we call on His name, He is near. He is never too busy for you. Calling on the Lord in truth, is aligning your heart with scripture, calling on the Lord to seek after Him and not calling on Him in vain.

Today, when you call on the name of the Lord, would you sit and wait in expectation that He is near. Put away distractions, avoid getting busy and wait on the Lord. Allow him to reveal himself to you as you call on him.

Prayer:

Father, would you help me to wait when I call on your name. I trust that you are near to all who call on you. Holy Spirit, would you help me to know that in my heart and not just in my head. Amen.
