What would it look like if you lived as if Jesus were truly in control?

Jesus sends His disciples on their first mission, giving them authority to heal, drive out demons, and proclaim the Kingdom. But He also commands them to depend on God—to take no extra provisions and trust that God will provide. Some towns will welcome them; others will reject them. Their job is not to control the response, but to be faithful. How would you feel if you were a disciple at the time, hearing Jesus’ instructions?

This is the glory of Christ’s kingdom: it advances not through force or human strategy, but through trust, obedience, and the power of God.

Today, ponder this: Where is Jesus calling you to step out in faith, relying not on your own resources, but on Him?
