For the Joy: Reignite Your Desire to Serve Like Jesusනියැදිය

Day 5: Endurance and Encouragement
Paul’s words in Romans remind us that God is the source of our endurance and encouragement. He strengthens us when we grow weary, and He uplifts us when we feel discouraged. But He also calls us to be encouragers to one another. We don’t serve alone. We serve together—as one body, with one voice, for one purpose: to glorify God.
Think about that for a moment. The Church is not built on the gifts of a few but on the sacrifices of many. Every handshake, every setup, every sound check, every prayer, every small act of service contributes to the greater mission. And when we serve in harmony, with joy and endurance, we reflect the heart of Jesus to the world. We say, without speaking a word, "Jesus is real and His Word is true, and we know there to be no greater decision a human can make than to follow Him."
So as you move forward from this devotional, we challenge you—serve with renewed passion. See your role not as a task to complete but as a calling to fulfill. Encourage those serving beside you. Lift each other up. And most of all, keep your eyes on Jesus, the One who first served us, who endured the cross FOR THE JOY set before Him (Hebrews 12:2).
The joy is ahead. The impact is eternal. Keep going. Keep serving. Keep glorifying God with your life.
- Reflection: Who can you encourage this week? How can you remind them that their service matters?
Congratulations on completing this devotional! We pray that it has ignited a fire in you—one that will fuel your passion to run harder into a life of joyful service. Remember, service is not just about doing tasks, but about making an eternal impact in the lives of others. If you're looking for a place to serve, your local church is a great place to get involved. They need you—your gifts, your heart, and your willingness to serve for the joy of others.
Here’s to keeping our eyes on Jesus and continuing to serve others with the same love and purpose that He showed us. Keep going, keep loving, and keep glorifying God in all that you do.
