See Clearly: A Holy Week Devotionalනියැදිය

Tuesday: Seeing But Not Believing
The people saw miracles but refused to trust Jesus.
Key Verse: “Though he had done so many signs before them, they still did not believe in him.” — John 12:37
Many in Jesus’ day witnessed miracles but remained spiritually blind. They saw the sick healed, the dead raised, and thousands fed, yet their hearts were hardened. Seeing God’s power isn’t the same as trusting Him.
Jesus lamented over those who refused to see Him for who He was. Their vision was clouded by doubt, pride, and fear. They wanted more signs, yet no miracle could convince a heart unwilling to trust.
Today, we face the same challenge. We may see God work in our lives but hesitate to fully trust Him. We look for more proof, more certainty, instead of stepping out in faith. Spiritual clarity comes not from seeing more miracles but from surrendering to Jesus.
Reflection Questions:
- In what areas of your life do you struggle to fully trust Jesus, despite what you’ve seen Him do?
- How can you move from seeing to truly believing?
