5 Days of Refuge in God’s Armsනියැදිය

Cradled
It will not always be like this, I thought to myself. I felt God’s physical presence with us in those early days after my husband’s death. I remember trying so hard to describe his presence to someone because it was so real and profound.
Holding up my cupped hands, I said I felt like I was broken into a million pieces, but I also felt completely held. Every fragment of my life was cradled in the palm of God’s hand. I always believed God cared for me and would provide for my family, but in that moment of shattering grief, I truly felt it.
I knew in the depths of my soul that we would be okay; I just didn’t know how or what that would look like. But God saw my fear. He saw me, and he held me with gentle, loving compassion.
Prayer: Father God, your compassion for me is endless. Remind me to see the hope and the goodness that you bring to my life.
