Pretending it doesn’t exist won’t make it lighter, but recognizing it invites God to come close. Psalm 34:18 reminds us that God doesn’t just observe our brokenness from afar—He steps into it with us. His presence brings comfort, even when the pain feels overwhelming.
Think of your grief-case as something you’ve been carrying everywhere—its contents often feel too overwhelming to unpack. Naming the weight isn’t weakness—it’s an act of faith that invites God into the heaviness.
Action Step: Write down what has been weighing on your heart. Be honest about the emotions, whether it’s sadness, anger, or confusion. Offer this list to God in prayer, asking Him to carry it with you.
Prayer: Lord, I feel the weight of my grief. Thank You for being close to me in my brokenness. Help me carry this today. Amen
