God Is Powerfulනියැදිය

I have countless stories of how God has come through for me in unexpected ways. One of the greatest miracles was being able to pay our son’s hospital bill—all at once! 😮 When our son was admitted, our bank accounts were practically empty, but 64 days later, by the time he was discharged, we had enough to pay it all. It was all God’s doing.

Of course, our deepest desire is to see our son healed. That hasn’t happened (yet), but in the meantime, we still see God’s faithfulness in countless big and small ways.

The Bible promises:

“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:19

The words “according to His riches of His glory” stand out to me. When God meets our needs, He goes above and beyond:

• He often answers in unexpected ways, sometimes opposite of what we expect. Like when Jesus instructed Peter to throw the net on the right side. (John 21:6-11)
• His answers regularly exceed the need. The disciples experienced this when they collected 12 baskets full of leftovers after Jesus fed the crowd with only five loaves and two fish. (Mark 6:43)
• He frequently uses extravagant means, as in the story of the poor widow whose single oil flask produced enough to pay her debts and keep some for herself and her two children. (2 Kings 4:1-7)

When He answers our prayers, God demonstrates both His riches and His glory through His unbounded generosity and endless mercies.

I encourage you today to list all your needs and then hand them over to God in prayer. Tell God that you trust that He will meet each one according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.
