SERVE FAMILY
Serving your family is one of the most important ways you can live out your faith. God gave us family as a gift—a place where love, support, and connection are meant to thrive. But serving your family takes humility and intentionality. It’s not just about doing chores or helping; it’s about showing honor, respect, and love in a way that reflects God’s heart.
Think about your relationship with your parents. Are you showing them respect, even when you disagree? Do your actions honor them, even when they’re not around to see? The Bible reminds us in Ephesians 6:1-3 that obeying and honoring our parents pleases God and brings blessings into our lives. Serving your family might look like helping without being asked, listening with patience, or sacrificing your own time for the good of someone else.
It’s not always easy—selfishness and pride can get in the way. Ask yourself what might stop you from truly serving your family. Pray for God’s guidance to remove those barriers. When you choose to serve your family with love and humility, you strengthen those relationships and honor God. True service starts at home—how will you serve your family today?
