Acts 10:9-33 | When God Has a New Wayනියැදිය

The new thing God was up to really wasn’t new. His intention was always to make one new people - a renewed humanity – out of Jew and Gentile alike. Israel’s status was never meant to indicate they were better than the nations. It was to be the people through whom God would work to bring salvation to the nations. Too often those entrusted with special responsibility start to think they are more special than they ought.
What we see in Acts 10 is God orchestrating visions among different people (Cornelius and Peter), priming both of them. They listen, and it changes them. Listening to God will lead to life change and spiritual growth. Do you want to know God? Obey him. That’s how you learn more and see more of who he is. Cornelius did, and he came to be a part of the people of God. Peter did, and he got to experience God’s new amazing work among the Gentiles.

Sometimes God does the unexpected. That message saturates Acts. This 5-day plan continues a journey through the book of Acts, the Bible’s gripping sequel of Jesus at work in the life of his followers as he expands his kingdom to the ends of the earth. It’s a journey on what it means to be a Christian. It’s a story in which you have a role to play.
