BulletProof Your Marriageනියැදිය

It’s time for a romance check-up. Yes, romance! And yes, you need it. The reality is that life is getting busier, with more and more stress. Too often, it is our relationships that are the first to suffer, particularly our marriage relationship. Second to our relationship with God, His desire is that our marriage be the most wonderful, fulfilling, and rewarding of all relationships. Sadly, this can be missing for too many.
Romance is about keeping the mystery, excitement, and interest alive in our relationships. Remember that romance is not just about intimacy in the bedroom! We need to express love and romance in many different ways. Keep your marriage fresh by having plenty of fun along the journey. Fun is a sure-fire antidote to routine, boredom, and dullness.
Predictability is the number one problem in a dull marriage. Same old, same old! Even if this is where you are at today in your marriage, it is never too late to turn things around. Surprise one another. Break the monotony; put some spice back into your relationship. Make memories. Be creative.
If I were to do my life over again, I would definitely major on more humor. I would tell myself, “Lighten up, laugh out loud, and don’t take life too seriously.” Laughter is good medicine—good for your soul, good for romance, and good for your health.
Romance sends a message that your spouse is unique and special. When you are the recipient of romance, it safeguards you against low self-esteem. Romance is essential for a great marriage. Life is for living, and for living it to its fullest. Make time for it. Rekindle the flame.
Reflect on how you can surprise your spouse with a romantic gesture this week. Live in such a way that you do not leave room for regrets. Your marriage deserves the best that you can offer!
