Reading With the People of God #9 - Faithfulnessනියැදිය

Memorization Challenge:
13 And now behold the king whom you have chosen, for whom you have asked; behold, the Lord has set a king over you. 14 If you will fear the Lord and serve him and obey his voice and not rebel against the commandment of the Lord, and if both you and the king who reigns over you will follow the Lord your God, it will be well. 15 But if you will not obey the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then the hand of the LORD will be against you and your king. - Samuel 12:13-15
Primer:
In today’s readings, we learn about the consequences of unfaithfulness and the light of God’s faithfulness. Saul’s impatience leads to disobedience, contrasting with Jesus’ declaration as the light of the world, faithfully guiding those who follow Him. These stories remind us to wait on God’s timing and trust in His guidance.
Question to reflect on: How can you practice faithfulness by waiting on God’s timing and following His light?
