How to Be a Redemptive Change Agentනියැදිය

Why Be a Redemptive Change Agent?
For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another (Galatians 5:13 ESV).
Many people think that problems in their communities are beyond solution. “That’s the way it is! Nothing will ever change.” But, to believe that is to believe Satan who is the great deceiver of the nations (Revelation 20:3).
Within several years after his conversion, young English parliamentarian William Wilberforce declared: "God Almighty has placed before me two great objects: the suppression of the Slave Trade and the Reformation of Manners (morals)." He had led a carefree life as an aristocrat with more money than he could ever imagine. Why did he become a Christian problem solver in English society?
The answer comes from the Apostle Paul’s powerful text Galatians 5:13. The Christian’s spiritual freedom (from bondage to sin and a hopeless spirit) is not for the purpose of satisfying our own pleasures and needs, but for loving our neighbors. We do this by serving their needs, thus serving the interests of the common good over selfish interests.
