In the Garden With Jesus - a Lent Journey for Teensනියැදිය

Imagine this: Jesus knows his squad is knocked out, catching some sleep, but He still hits them with a "Why?" It's like He's curious, wanting to know what's up with them, what's going on inside their heads. He's not just asking for the sake of it; it's an invitation to wake up to what's really going on.
It's like Paul's shout-out in Ephesians 5: "sleepyhead, wake up, come to life, and let Christ light you up!” "Wake up" isn't just about rubbing the sleep from your eyes. It's an invite to be present, to roll with God on this journey without throwing shade at yourself for not hitting every goal. It's not just about being awake; it's about coming alive.
So, Jesus is like, "Wake up, folks! Open those eyes. Check out what's happening around you. I'm still here, still doing my thing. Yeah, it might be a bit dark, but trust me, morning's on the way!
Jesus knew why His disciples slept, but still He asked them why. It’s as if He wants to hear.
Prayer:
I ask for an awareness of Your work in my life.
