Journaling Through Lentනියැදිය

Remembering God’s Comfort
Psalm 34:18 is such a special verse. It says, "The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." God’s heart is drawn towards those who are despondent and dejected. He is on their side. When we hit rock bottom, the Rock of Ages is next to us in the lowest of places, reassuring us of His love and His Presence.
When we have deep offenses, hurt, and pain, if we’re struggling with a situation that is out of our control, any solution that worldly wisdom offers is only temporary. Only the true Physician, Jesus, can heal our hearts and mend our broken spirits. His love is a balm that is so soothing, and His comfort is the most encouraging.
Have you been through a season of brokenness, loss, or pain and experienced the comfort of the Holy Spirit and the reassurance of the Presence of God? If you have, take time to thank God and praise Him.
Journaling Prompt:
Create a visual representation of God's comforting embrace. Use soothing colors and symbols that convey the sense of safety and peace found in His arms.
