Day 3: With us and/or in heaven:
Sometimes, we want Jesus close, comforting, and listening. But there are also times when we want to know He’s in control, above and beyond this daily grind, with hope for a future free from tears. He is both these things. He is Emmanual, God with us, but He also sits on the throne of heaven, ready to welcome us into the Kingdom of Heaven.
1) Which of these two parts of Jesus am I more comfortable with? Why?
2) What can I learn about Jesus and put into practice from accepting the part of Jesus that comes less naturally to me?
3) Write a short statement to remind yourself of these multi-faceted truths about Jesus.
