Thankful When You Don't Feel Like Itනියැදිය

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because when we stop to say, “I’m thankful,” it necessitates that there is Someone to whom we are thankful. We must give the glory to God.
Even if you say you do not believe in God, or you feel like if there is a God He does not care about you, I beg to differ. God has done wonderful things in my life, and He has done wonderful things in your life, even if you refuse to acknowledge Him. If you accept Him by faith and walk in the Spirit, you will see how good God is.
We should be thankful because our tough times can produce hope. We find that in Romans 5:3, KJV: And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience. I do not necessarily think that this is saying that we should be excited about tribulations or be glad that something horrible is happening in our lives. I do think that we should see the big picture and know that while the circumstances are bad, God, Who is above the circumstances, can take what seems to be bad and make it into something good for our lives.
So, we should be thankful even when God sends us through a trial or tribulation because challenging times will start to produce something in our lives. Tribulation can create a good chain reaction in our lives.
Tribulation works patience, and with patience comes experience. Experience is this idea that we have seen God work in our lives, we know He is good, and we know that He is doing good things. From that comes hope. So, when these trials come into our lives, they are situations that can help to mold us and make us more like our Savior.
