Pray Anyway

What is prayer? It is your conversation with Me, your heavenly Father. For those who enjoyed loving relationships with their earthly fathers, conversing with Me is a simple matter.

They are accustomed to telling their dads how they feel and what they need. Coming to Me is natural for them. That is not true for everyone.

Many are fatherless or feel distanced from their fathers. Therefore, they struggle with prayer. Is that you? Do you withdraw from Me because of your family history?

Do you feel stuck there? You needn’t be. Remember that your earthly parents did their best with what they had.

Even if they failed you, I did not; and I will not. You and I have a clean slate. Set aside your misgivings about fathers. With abandon, pour out your heart to Me. It might seem difficult at first; but if you will pray anyway, I will prove Myself worthy of your trust. And I will answer your prayers!

Will you give your heavenly Father the chance to prove His faithfulness?
