Consumed by Godනියැදිය

Day 6: Do Not Conform To The Pattern Of This World
We cannot compare God’s standards to world patterns; there is no comparison. This is why renewing our minds is so important. We renew our minds through the Word of God. Reading, studying, and meditating on the scriptures can flush out all the impurities from this world and the lies of the enemy. Helping us become more focused on the things of God. When we focus on the life God has for us, we can experience freedom and deliverance within our life! When someone has been saved from a life of sin and destruction and can finally experience hope, joy, peace, and deliverance, they can’t help but passionately worship the God that saved and delivered them. When God consumes us, we cannot help but give Him our all and surrender everything to Him! When you live as a sacrifice, and God consumes your life, you become a testimony to those around you of the goodness of God’s will.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank you for your word that renews and cleanses my mind. I ask you to give me a desire and hunger for more of your word. Lord, I do not want to live a life that is lukewarm, help to live a life that is consistently consumed by you. Holy Spirit, I ask you to show me people or relationships in my life that are not bearing fruit and that are not the best influence within my life. Send me friends or people that can encourage me in my walk with you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I believe that this is our time as Christians to be fully consumed by God. This Devotional, from my book “Living a Life Consumed by God”, is meant to equip and empower us as believers to live our lives as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, so that we can live the full life of freedom that Christ has for us! Are you ready to lay it all down before God? Are you ready to become a living sacrifice?
