Adversity plays a role in every season. Adversity can be our teacher. Look no further than the quarterback who led his team to a championship in Super Bowl LVII. The adversity Patrick Mahomes faced was present for everyone watching as he hobbled around on a sprained ankle. He persevered. That was far from the only adversity the Kansas City Chiefs experienced that season, but their quarterback demonstrated how we all must face it: head on, with knowledge that we can fight through it, be stronger for it, and win.
