Acts: Go & Be Chapters 1-9නියැදිය

What is this passage saying?
When The Holy Spirit arrives it isn’t in a gentle and calm way, it is described as “A sound like a mighty rushing wind” 2:2. This sound then draws a great crowd with Jews who were in Jerusalem. The apostles and everyone in the upper room are filled with The Holy Spirit and begin to speak languages from all the nations. Instead of creating chaos from this commotion, the people hear the Gospel being proclaimed in their native tongue by men and women from Galilee. The Holy Spirit has now equipped them with the tools to take the Gospel to every nation. This supernatural power now brings even more weight to the message being proclaimed.
What is this passage teaching?
The Holy Spirit is the one who will equip and empower you for the ministry God has set before His children. The same Holy Spirit that was with the apostles on the day of Pentecost is the same Holy Spirit that is inside of every believer of Jesus today. He is the one who fuels all our efforts, He is the miracle maker.
How do I respond?
Understand the power of The Holy Spirit that dwells in every believer and go proclaim the Gospel to all.
