Something amazing happens when the body of Christ works together as it should. God has given each of us amazing gifts, and, when we work together and use them for His glory, those gifts are able to shine brighter than they do on their own. What’s amazing about the way God made us is that He gave us each unique gifts. The variety is endless! Some of us sing yet others are able to be amazing friends, and some are gifted with being hospitable to everyone we meet. If we all had the same gifts, the church would not only be a little boring, but it also wouldn’t be able to grow. But when we work together as a community and celebrate each of our unique gifts, we’re able to reach our full potential as a body of believers.

Think of the people in your community. What different gifts do you see? And how are they being used? What are some ways that you can not only support those gifts but help to put them into action? If you’re unsure of a gift that you may have to bring to the table, spend some time in prayer, asking God to reveal it to you.
