For the Poor, Orphaned, and Less Fortunate

Take some time today to pray for the poor and those in need around the world, also mentioning some of the people mentioned in Matthew 5 (the poor in spirit, those who mourn, those who weep). Ask the Lord to give you compassion and guide you on how you can make a difference for one of those people today. Reach out to someone if the Lord lays it on your heart. Give a love offering to an organization or cause close to your heart.
