21-Day Devotional for Christian Writersනියැදිය

For the most part, Christian writers live a dual life. We’re writers, yet we inhabit that strange land labelled ‘religious writer.’
We choose to point our readers towards the One in whom all exists. It is not an easy task; embody spiritual truths in fiction or not at all? Comment on today’s moral deficit and face society’s feral backlash or do nothing at all?
Choices. Yes, we make them every day in our writing lives and God sees it all. His eyes, His ears, and His promises are unshakeable: “The Lord will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.”
Are you struggling to get recognition for your work because of your faith? Hold on. Take strength in today’s verse: His eyes are attentive to [your] cry. This is not a panacea to make you feel better (although knowing that God hears your cry should make you feel better). It’s an active embodiment and guarantee of God’s Word to you. Take hold of it, proclaim it, and never let it go.
Remember: The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous. He’s listening and watching over you; His righteous writer. He sees and hears it all.
