Every writer has those moments of: Is this a pipe dream? Should I continue? Was I wrong? Self-doubt is not wrong; it is part of our faith – and life – walk. However, when it becomes crippling, to the point that we are unable to function, then it is not normal. Thank God for the Holy Spirit! He will guide you into all the truth. What a great God we serve! Not only does He choose us before we knew He existed, He gives Himself, the Holy Spirit, to guide us and lead us into Truth. For those times when we do not understand what we are doing or why things are happening to us, God reminds us that we are not alone, that He is here with us to shed light into our situation and not just some aspects of it: ‘all the truth.’ Suffering from ‘writer’s block’? Ask the Holy Spirit to unblock your creative juices. Remember: You did not choose Him; He chose you. So relax and let Him prune Your writing “so that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”
