Daily Encounter Devotionalනියැදිය

Daily Bread
In Matthew 6:11, Jesus continues to teach us how to pray, saying, “Give us today our daily bread.” Daily bread can be referred to as God’s word, voice, and everyday provisions. There is daily bread available to you today. It’s not yesterday’s bread, yesterday’s provision, or yesterday’s word—it’s new. In your daily encounter today, get ready to “eat” the bread God has prepared for you. There is bread available to you every day, but it only nourishes you if you eat and take part in it!
Exodus 16 shares the story of when God provided for Israel in unexpected ways. God listened to their groaning as they went about the wilderness and responded by raining down bread from Heaven! That does not happen normally! This is the same God who wants to give you bread today. God desires to provide because that is who He is. He is Jehovah Jireh, God our Provider. When you meet with God in your daily encounters, you are getting to meet with your Provider. He wants to provide things for you! He is interested in your everyday details. Come to Him with it all! What’s important about this bread is that it’s DAILY! God desires to have daily encounters with you. There is something for you from God on this day!
Pray: Give me today my daily bread. Lord, you have a portion to give me today. I open my hands right now to receive what you have for me. I repent when I didn’t believe that You wanted to provide for me in specific areas. I give it all to You right now. You are my Provider!
