Jesus People: Give My Bestනියැදිය

Your Best is Needed
Have you ever felt truly needed? As in, if you took yourself out of a situation, things would have gone a lot worse.
Whether you have felt that or not, you are needed in the Church. Everyone has a part to play in the Church, and if you were to remove them, the whole would suffer.
Paul illustrates this truth through the metaphor of a body in 1 Corinthians 12:12-27. There are so many different parts to the body; bones and skin, eyes and toes, heart and lungs. Each one serves a different purpose, but each one is part of what makes up the body. And the Body of Christ, the Church, is the same way.
There are so many different types of people and gifts that are needed in the Church. You have people who are gifted in teaching, some in hospitality, some in evangelism, and more. We are worse off if you take any of those out of the Church. Every person and every gift is different but needed to build and support the Church.
The question to ask yourself is not if you are needed in the body but how your gifts can support and encourage the body.
QUESTIONS:
What gifts do you have to support and encourage the Church?
How are you using your gifts?

Jesus is our passion, obsession, and motivation. Because Christ gave his all on Calvary, we give our best every day. We believe the church should be a beautiful expression of its people. We have been gifted to give, wired for work, and saved to serve. We don’t just go to church; we are the church!
