A Prayer for Purpose and Confidence

Whether they are five or twenty-five, kids need to know who they are. At school, many people tell them who they should be or what they should do. The most important thing they should know is that their purpose and confidence come from God.

Remember, God is faithful to show your child who they are and what they need to do. May this new year be full of confidence and purpose.

Lord, as the new year begins, help my child know who they are in You. Remind them that You are with them in all they do. Help them walk forward confident in who You created them to be no matter what happens around them. May they see You and what You call them to each day. Give them the confidence to listen to Your truth in every situation. Amen
